My guess is the background is used in most text backgrounds, word/notepad-like programs.
IMO the quickest way to visually check all the theme colors is by testing the theme on Win7's advanced appearance menu.
But slow and steady all goes well on Win10 too.

All we need is a live preview of all those parts as in Win7:

Or even in one window where you show all elements, like in one of your screenshots... but variable where you can play around with the colors (choosing from sliders, buttons?)
I'd dare give it a try, after Xmas, maybe building some preview in html code but there are many approaches, many coders around here...
