Therefore you know your way around Office programs, and all I can do is download a template or use a Wizard, but actually formatting something from hand??? NO WAY! And you know what all the things in the ribbon(s) do.

Ha! Those ribbons beat the crap outta moi! I hated them and still think the old way is best. :)

    @Cliff S

    Hi Theme Team,
I have knocked-up this little app - briefly, it changes the reg. values but only when save button clicked - the colour changes prior are for preview only.
Some settings are controlled by Windows (Title bars etc) and can't be mimicked with the app. I note these changes require a restart to take effect as well. I can't find an API that allows all open windows to refresh themselves.

    Attachment 55571
    Thank you Craig!

    That was fast!

Confirmed to work fine here as well.
It's in fact better than what I had in mind because the changes are also saved directly.

    Great work!

So the first theme created with Craig's ColorChooser:
***By the way, to change the color of some program UIs, you need to change the color of ButtonFace. Some use AppWorkspace and others(system32) use ButtonFace***

For the Inactive Title bars: Amyethyst InasctiveTitle.zip

You need to unblock in properties, unzip it, and double click to merge(no reboot or signing out and back in necessary).

    Great one Cliff!
I'd say a professional color combo, with a right background blend-in.

    Thanks Horace
Craigs tool makes it easier to see the changes, without having to sign in and out dozens of times

    Indeed.
I took it for a spin on Win8 and it works as well, since the same color codes are used... :)

Something else I always liked since I started customizing colors, Chrome takes on the color on it's New Tab Page(which is also my home page for Chrome) and the Apps Page.
