Thanks Hopachi and I have gone through every page in this thread over time and have tried a few of the themes as well as some from your Win 8 thread and other websites which I test on my test computer and I like most of them but I prefer a somewhat less dark theme but I'm sure I'll settle on one one of this days and I appreciate yours and others here wonderful work

    Hello Mike,

As Cliff said, extract the zip first. Pretty sure it worked though.
It depends on the the open programs on how those colors get applied, I find it a bit odd myself but it's normal some programs (older ones) get more gray and orange than others (new - modern?).

Do you have any screenshot to show us?
Well after my 1st attempt and all it changed was my title bars, I gave up and went back to my original theme. Then, 2 days later, my ex-wife was doing some work in Excel, after she was done using the computer, my original theme was gone, and your sunset theme was back on. This time everything was working perfectly. ??!!! Why it changed all by itself, I have no idea. I guess my computer has a mind of its own.....sometimes. I did have to tweak a few things, but its running and I like the color changes. Only thing I changed was I put my original desktop pic back. Everything else is the way you made it, I believe. Think it also gave me some kind of sound warning, telling me their was a conflict between my monitor speakers, and my desktop external speakers. I've always had my monitor speakers off, and not connected. I can show some pics and will post some, no problem.
I might have installed sunset.zip wrong way on my 1st try, as all I did was un-zip it into my download folder, then clicked on it.
but it did seem to move everything into the right folders. ?? I had to save it under a new name, after changing the desktop pic.
But that is the only change I've made in your theme. Pictures to follow.....Mike.....

    Hello Mike,

    Thanks for the update.

    The colors look normal.
It might have failed for the first time installing but it succeeded the second time around. Notice you have a two (2) in the theme folder name so it most likely means there is another folder/theme with same name, from the first install.

No worries since it works now; desktop wallpaper isn't an issue at all; you can change it as you please; only the theme colors are fixed to orange.

In time, as many themes gather you may consider cleaning the theme folder but so far so good there. :)

    Thanks!

My first attempt for a less dark theme... is actually based on a dark theme:

    Here goes...

Not the best so far, pretty monochrome, but will deal with less colors.

It's a Win8 screenshot, my apologies, but should work fine on 10.

    Cheers!

Thanks I'll try it out and will also experiment with it and see what comes up. I've been trying various reg entries in various locations to see if one can do some more changes but so far it won't do what I want it to do but it's fun to try anyway and Win 10 seems to be quite resilient before breaking

    Hey Cliff,
did you have any success yet regarding my problem with black title text color whilst having blue title bars active and inactive in 10586?? I recall you posting a screenshot in which only the Explorer kept white title text, but that wouldn't matter for me to begin with.
    Thanks a lot!

I'm still working on it. I'm trying different ways. Using Aerolight, using the "new" inactive bar tweak...etc.
