    Never mind...

    Like a pro, I used image.conf, for a few hours, then realizing typo: images.conf is the right name.
    Config was ok though.

    It works!!
    - png format works
    - number of images can be different than provided 16.

    I've loaded LLL project using 14 images.

    Attachment 193935
    This is the pack I released some time ago; just renamed the files in sequence for the conf file.

    It's the same scene but there are some left-right swapped ones in there as I wanted to somehow show sunset and moonrise in the same loop.
    You can use diferent images as well, program will load them sequentially and time-based.

    Attachment 193937

    images.conf
    Code:
    {
        "themeName": "Layered Landscape",
        "imagesZipUri": null,
        "imageFilename": "LLL{0}.png",
        "dayImageList": [
            1,
            2,
            3,
            4,
            5,
            6,
            7,
            8,
            9
        ],
        "nightImageList": [
            10,
            11,
            12,
            13,
            14
        ]
    }
    Now with more tweaking and image sequences this brings theming to a new level.

    Cheers!
    So....wondering if you could put your images into a folder in your profile, so I don't have to go through 2,200+ posts to find them?

    You're welcome!

    You'll have to rename the files like in my previous post screenshot if you want to use the WinDynamicDesktop + images.conf.

    So I install the program WinDynamicDesktop, set it up for "my own" files, rename them, and use your images.conf file? Is it really that easy? My kid wants to do this on his system. I'll have to do some more reading before I attempt this....

    Yes. From what i recall only location is asked, then all files/folders will be the same to anyone.
    My images.conf uses the names like in the screenshot.

    Images placed in the images folder (aside to the WinDynamicDesktop.exe)

    If you copy the whole working WinDynamicDesktop (install) folder with all settings and files to another computer, it will run there as well, so there's no need to set everything from scratch, in case you want the same settings.

    Cheers!
