H, as we discussed, colorizationcolor uses aRGB, - alpha being transparency - I can add a slider to the colorizationcolor choice like Attachment 87086 (got it from codeproject.)
    Excellent!

In .theme's VisualStyles there is also a transparency setting - seems to be either 0 (Windows default) or 1 (High contrast) - so I assume that is just a boolean for switching opacity on or off?
Yes, it's just a boolean. The one found in settings -> colors.

I just got some inspiration to start a new AeroHybrid theme, from going through @Arc's carbon wallpapers.
I just got an interesting gradient effect:

    Cool side effect,
my personalized custom start menu tiles, background color(BackgroundColor='#343434') now have the exact same color as the system accent color, giving them even more an icon effect(being larger and filling out the tile more).

Achieved by choosing the accent color and turning off transparency for taskbar, Start Menu & co.)

Thanks Keith, but a lot of it has to do with luck(like I posted, a side effect), but as long as I only make changes one at a time, then I know at least, what made the change.

It's not luck it's experimentation and learning.

Looks good Cliff! Can't wait to get the new glasses; it sure would be nice to be able to really see the "fine print"!
