    If a forum member, with experience in working with WAV files, joined us, and created some custom system sounds for the themes(with an installer would be even better)
    .

    I've created lots of WAV files but only as snippets from songs and tunes. Easy to do that part, but I have no clue on how to incorporate an installer.

    I've been thinking of including an installer in SMACC... kinda like creating a .tftf (Ten Forums theme file) that does all the individual component installations - it will first require updating it, like adding cursor, sound tabs etc - the ini entries for which I think can be incorporated in the .theme file (Horace correct me here)...... the lock screen 'papers can be compressed into the themepack cab file with the desktop folder and extracted separately.
    Needs to be specc'd properly, but I think it's doable, conceptually, anyways.

    Check out the fine line, dark green & light green border, trim, around the boxes in the windows.

    Does the color carryover to File Explorer too?

    That would be nice! I'm kinda dull in this matter since I use themes with no sounds. But I like the idea.

    Ideally you'll need someone with mixing talent if you want genuine sounds.
    But we can also begin with some royalty free sound websites... for example: Free Sound Effects | SoundBible.com and gather some nice samples.

    Do you really need installer for sounds?
    If you put all wavs in a folder and use them in the theme during creation, they will get packed in the themepack and install on click. You've already packed wavs in one of your themes in the past, from what I remember.

    @cato,
    Don't feel bad, me neither. I suppose just some bit of code that places them in a sound theme folder in C:\Windows\Media

    @Superfly,
    That's over my head Craig, you and Horace are the coders.

    @simrick,
    No it doesn't.
    That's why system patchers(memory or file patcher) were created.
    But... they don't work on windows 10, so one needs to create a Theme Shell that surrounds Windows Shell, like Car Wrap surrounds the paint job on your car, but can be any design or color.

    @Hopachi and installer in the sense of copying the sound files to C:\Windows\Media, would be enough.. I wasn't just thinking of themes we create, but maybe like, cursors, the member could have a System Sound thread.
    It was just a thought anyhow, maybe someone will read the post, has a bit of talent, and would like to share their work.

    One last thing everyone, Happy Easter!!!

    Paint.NET is an excellent program but somewhat limiting. I started with it before moving on to GIMP and now to Photoshop, Another good free program that @Stephanie likes is ChasysDraw http://www.jpchacha.com/chasysdraw/
    Just curious if anyone else has found this. I installed ChasysDraw using the exe file this morning and Defender seems to think there's a trojan attached to it. But, initial scan of the exe by Defender and MBAM found nothing. I'm thinking it's a false positive?

    @simrick upload the file in question(look for it in system32, right click and copy it) and go here: VirusTotal - Free Online Virus, Malware and URL Scanner
    and upload the file, and get other opinions from leading AV and anti- malware companies.
