    It works fine, but I have to right click first to get it to run as admin. A Hyper-V VM shortcut needs to run as admin.

    Yes I forgot; Kari's tutorial mentions it.
    This isn't a must for our start menus but if it works then it means the tile-way still has hope.
    Running the tile as admin is basically running a bat file or cmd.exe as admin so the command it launches as well.

    Thank you Hopachi!!!

    @Hopachi,
    Ok Horace, as a thank you for teaching me to personalize .exe tiles, I made this one for gimp 2.8 for you:

    You already know, but for others downloading it:
    After unblocking & extracting, copy the two files to C:\Program Files\GIMP 2\bin
    Then unpin the old tile, and right click the .exe file in the above folder and pin to start

    I have since, made some very subtle changes in the coloration, thanks to the "External Colors" mouse assist, in SMACC.

    Thanks Keith, I'm not quite happy with it, so I'll need a bit to fine tune.

    I've installed it to test.

    Making the png square will fit better.
    Desktop app tiles can only be square and medium anyway.

    Because I had to add edges to make it square.
    But all good.

    It was a bit hard finding a log with transparent background so only the logo would show, and that as a .png, because if it's another file type(.ico or .jpeg) it loses the transparency when I use Paint to do it. Resizing in Paint is no problem though. And this goes for shortcut icons too.
