    Some might call it upgrading.

    Great!
Keep in mind that ICO's are created in 256x256 and that for nicer tiles you may need something else. PNG's.
EDIT: Tiles don't make use of bigger ICO files.

Do you see the three icons for Hyper-V(left and down, the three in a row)? Two of them are custom icons I made, one for my Ubuntu machine, and one for Insider builds(I only use the update path for it), both are 256x256 ico's too.

Hello, here is a theme I worked up. I had it mostly complete already, but had to change a few things in it (mainly needed a proper bg image). Now those needed changes have been made and I can now proudly post it here for all to enjoy.

    Enjoy everyone!
    Thank you JoshuaVL1998. Very nice!

    Yes I see.
I'm customizing the same way here.

What I mean is that you can create tiles with custom icons.
    See here:
    Custom Tiles (for Desktop Apps)

    XML+PNG = tile.
This way you can mimic App style icons + colors and increased icon in the middle...
You're limited to the medium size but good that's working.

    Cliff,
If you want to test it out, I've shortened the procedure a bit. No need to add 2 PNG's; one of 256x256 size is fine.
It will be auto-resized to act as a medium and small tile.

Extract the png and the xml manifest in the same location of your SMACC.exe unpin and re-pin to start will use the new tile.
Modify the png icon, text color (dark / light) and the tile background color by modifying entries in the xml.
    Un-pin re-pin... no worries.
