I don't have a whole lot of experience with my dual monitors either, Cliff. But having them makes the way I do things a whole lot better. Now I can look at more than one or two things at a time when I need to. Makes comparisons a great deal better.
I just don't have the room in my small apartment, that's why I'm using my HDTV instead of a "Real" monitor:)

Thanks, don't forget to download and install ALL elements
People keep forgetting the AccentColoeInactive zips on my themes. They are there so the inactive window title bar has the same or approximately the color as the active window. In this case though I used silver, because the different background create different accent colors(task bar, active window, start menu et all.

He needs to upgrade to office 2016, at least with OneNote 2016(the latest desktop version) you can get a Dark Gray theme and it uses either the AppWorkspace or Window registry color setting.

Upgrading is not an option ATM. He has no control over this work computer.

What we do here cannot be done on a work PC either, as it consist of registry changes, and unless he has an admin password,.. for example I wanted to check something in the registry at work(just looking) but I could not open even RegEdit, or any admin tools in the CPL for that matter, not even Windows defragmenter(and that PC needs it Baaaaaaddddd)!

Not sure what kind of tweaking you guys have in mind but I'm still using Office 2010 and it looks fine: no modifications just using some of our Windows themes. Had some minor tweaking to do once, but the colors of the installed themes are used.
As Cliff said, Office 2016 uses newer user interface.
