@Superfly,Craig the updater informed me, and updated SMACC this morning again, that's working great:Windows 10 Themes created by Ten Forums members-image-001.png

I think I found a bug though(actually still a bug as you saw with the packaged Batman/Joker theme). When applying(save to registry) the AccentColorInactive on the PC used to create the theme, it works, but when the theme is saved/packaged, and exported, the inactive accent colors are not being applied/carried over. This morning tested my theme(to see how it looked on an uncalibrated screen) by Drag & Drop, over my network, to my laptop in the other room, and noticed this bug.

I'm going to wait to post the our new theme(your tool, Horace's cursors, Keith's wallpapers, my theme colors), until I hear if you can fix this, because when I post a theme and the separate inactive accent color reg file, some users don't download it(either they forget, or don't notice it is separate), but to me it's part of the theme for color consistency. I see this by mousing over the download links and looking at views.

Cliff, I'm not sure that the .theme file accepts AccentColorInactive - or I'm not aware where to place it. (It's included under visualstyles merely as a placeholder in the meantime)
It thus does not form part of the themepack and still has to be applied via .reg. Unless we can find a workaround.

Oh ok I get it, it's only applied on that PC that creates it, but it is not written to the theme pack.
I guess I'll just have to add the extra file then, but make it more noticeable.
I have no idea what is needed when it comes to coding. I learned PASCAL back in High School 34 years ago, and learned how to create input for data arrays, but... way back when:)

Good then I'll post the new theme.

Might be worth zipping the two files with a readme.

Yup Windows treats the themepack file as an executable and I have no control over how it interprets it's contents - the best we can do is package the themepak together with a reg file as SFX perhaps, until a better solution comes up.

    The only important steps are:
    1.) unblocking in properties
    2.) click to apply
After those they can, either delete the files/pack or move them to a library for safe keeping.

I would like to be able to put every thing in one folder and zip it with instruction, but because of the (needed) size restrictions, it's hit and miss. I have had to take out wallpapers because of a few kilobytes too much, and post them in a second posting, before.

But you give me a good idea, Keith. I can write an instructions template that can be quickly edited depending on the theme, and just copy & paste it into the posting. It's like my instructions for running SFC/DISM:
You can try fixing things, by copy & pasting the following in an Admin Command Prompt:

    fsutil resource setautoreset true c:\&fsutil usn deletejournal /d /n c:&Dism.exe /online /Cleanup-Image /StartComponentCleanup&&sfc /scannow&Dism.exe /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth&sfc /scannow&Dism.exe /Online /Cleanup-Image /StartComponentCleanup /ResetBase&pause

    And let it run through.
Then reboot and run it again, to check if it cleaned and fixed everything.
It may take awhile depending on your hardware(HDD or SSD),
and it may appear to freeze at 20% on the third part,
just be patient and let in run out.

    What is SFX?
Oh I found the meaning using my Bing-Fu:
SFX: Self Extracting (data compression) SFX: Special Effects: SFX: Side Effects (counter-strike gaming clan) SFX: suffix
That sounds cool. How's that done, or can you add this in SMACC?

Sure, haven't done it before in code, but will look into it.

(SFX as in your themes - special effects without side-effects)

Ok thanks Craig! When this is done, you ought to try to see if you can offer SMACC it the Windows store:)

Hmm.. so far I did't unblock any of the themes downloaded and they installed without issues.
When does the unblock part apply? I guess some particular security settings would require it.
