How do I make the system tray appear on all my screens?

    Hello,

I have 3 screens but the system tray only appears on the taskbar on my primary monitor. How do I make it appear on other screens too? I googled to no avail - perhaps it's not possible?

    Thanks

    Hi arisutan

I don't think its possible to make the system tray icons appear on all your three monitors at the moment. I do suspect though that Microsoft is hopefully going to add this feature sometime in the near future.

You can of course switch the system tray icons to display on another single monitor by changing your primary display

Some third party software can do this for you: DisplayFusion

Actual multiple monitors can do that too but it's a paid software .

You can do this without changing the primary display (called "main display" in Windows 10):

    - right click the task bar (in an empty space)
    - in the menu turn off "Lock all taskbars"
    - drag the taskbar that has the systray onto the monitor where you want it
    - optionally re-lock the taskbar (so it can not be moved by accident)

Also, you can use DisplayFustion as a thrid party app. it has a free version, and a paid version both fully loaded with tons of features - including notification area on all taskbars + much more for your desktop, screensaver, lock screen, and all around customization.

I have seen this advice on several websites, but it doesn't work for me.
    1. I don't have any empty spaces.
    2. Wherever I try to drag, it either does nothing, or just screws up the arrangement of my taskbar.

I already have a taskbar on my 2nd monitor from the setting "Show taskbar on all displays." but I also need the systray on all monitors. I would rather do it without 3rd party SW if possible.
