Add notepad++ to the right click New> field

    Hi people,

I would like to have Notepad++ in my "New>" list.

    Example:

    1) Go to your desktop and right click on it
    2) Click on New>
    3) You are able to click on Notepad++

Right now I do see Notepad, I would like to keep it. Just adding notepad++ extra to it.

Anyone willing to tell me how to do it? Thanks a lot.

    Regards

Hi, New -> create new document of particular file type. Which type do you wish to create?

If you simply wish to open Notepad++ by right clicking, that's a different thing.

For example New, Text Document, creates a new empty file called New Text Document.txt.
    It doesn't launch a program.

So what now do you actually want to do?

Thanks for your message. After trying with regedit and all other tasks, I ended up using Right Click Enhancer - RBSoft

    It works like a charm!

I actually like the regular Notepad on the very top along with Explorer and Calculator for my grand daughter mostly, and my other favs are the restart and sleep and shutdown.
