Keeping users from disabling Spotlight
I am having trouble with students being able to change their lock screen image to whatever they want.
I have already looked at group policy and tried enabling the "Prevent changing lock screen image" policy. This does reset the image to the default beach lock screen image for students that changed theirs, but computers with windows spotlight no longer change. Disabling this policy changes everything back. This policy is also only available for each computer and I would like to allow staff members to change their lock screen if they wish.
Is there a registry key or group policy that will force spotlight on for each student?
I like the windows spotlight on the lock screen, I just don't like the lock screen of windows 10 on a traditional PC. Ss there a way to make windows spotlight appear on the login screen, since i disable the login screen?
I'm back to running Windows 7 on my system. Along time ago, I moved the Windows 7 user profiles from c:/users/... to d:/users?... When I updated to Windows 10 (Get Windows 10), the update worked, but it created and used a new profile on the OS...
How accurate is the time under Windows 10 ?
In earlier versions of Windows I used a third party app to adjust the time
Is that still a requirement under Windows 10 ?
