Advanced query syntax - e.g. search terms in file explorer.
I'm not sure those are 'perceived types' - rather a way of specifying your search params.

    Mp3tag supports genre:

Add comments, tags, metadata to files in explorer, folder comments-snap-2017-03-09-06.44.45.jpg
Audioshell (rt click) supports both - if 'importance' = * rating- don't know.

Returning to File Metadata; if using its editor, you add its property handling capability, then you get to change quite a lot in Properties too.

Can't you add genre to any type of file or must it be MP3 ?

As well I never saw the ability to add importance or days or multi-word relative dates search parameters to files ?

    days or multi-word relative dates
    - you don't add these to files.

You type the search specification using this format in file explorer's search bar. This tells Windows the time range you're searching for. Clearly, it would usually be meaningless to tag a file as 'yesterday' for example.

Finally, what about genre & importance; do you add this to the files metadata ? Also are you familiar with flagstatus is that also something you add to the files metadata ?

Genre is - see examples above.

Importance- don't know. Maybe you are referring to the start rating? If so, again, see above (Properties sheet).

Importance can be set to; high and I assume low ? It is something you can add to file. No word on flagstatus ?

I'm sure you already know this but you made the exchange between you and Dalchina into a pissing contest.

Just for future reference, be careful with your choice of words. I'm sure you didn't "intentionally" mean it but by stating, "You didn't answer my question." and stating same exact question again, you sort of imply that the other person is dumb.

I'm sure Dalchina by then already knew what info you wanted but didn't give it to you explicitly because he didn't like your tone.

    People have so much pride...

Sounds as if you bringing a personal issue onto this forum.

You're right. I brought up a personal issue that you had created between you and Dalchina. You couldn’t tell that you were annoying him?

Rather than bring a personal issue onto this forum, I was hopefully preventing future ones.
