i clicked on classic shell on start menu went to classic explorer settings and help... i don't see the option to change this to like windows 7?

the only thing i see is in navigation pane style, it shows windows vista with a dot. Only other option is windows xp simple.

How do i go back and make this window 7? So that means i made my start menu windows vista?

If it's borders you want you can enable Aerolite Theme with Winaero Tweaker.

Here's the new Aeroglass with one of many 'theme atlas' files you can download here:
Aero Glass ThemeAtlas - Aero Glass For Windows 8+ - MSFN
    including rounded corners.

You need the new AeroGUI tool to apply them:
    http://glass8.eu/files/AeroGlassGUI-2016-10-02.7z

    v1.5 works on build 14393.
    It refers to 8.1+ - i.e. 10 as well.

Now I'm just off to find a 'theme atlas' pair of files with a bit more colour in the buttons...

question on this. It shows the words

    Aero Glass for Win8.1
Aero Glass for Win8+ on both my laptop screen and my external monitor

First off, is this fine? I never made any changes to it. However, how to remove this? its like some ink or logo on it?

Is there anyone that has the same thing as me and using windows 10? this looks a bit strange etc with the windows 8 printing on it.

The watermark indicates you haven't made a donation. Making a donation of e.g. 3 Euros buys you maybe a couple of reusable licenses, and means data files are automatically kept up to date.

Does it show Win 8 or Win 8+? Wn8+ includes later editions. Otherwise the author hasn't updated a trivial bit of code. You'll also get a pop-up with the hardware id code. It's a spare-time activity (he says); but the program is updated to keep up with major build changes. Such updates may take several months- e.g. after the anniversary update, requiring several beta builds.
