Hi Banzi, that's exactly the same issue I'm having, I have found out that when no lock screen is enabled in gpedit, it does work for when you actually lock your PC but not on first startup. I am currently working on finding a fix for this

Yeah it is annoying mate, I get the feeling it might be related to spotlight security or something. If you do find a fix please post it here :)

You guys might see if doing a clean install of the latest build may sort it since it works just fine for me in build 10130.

I did a clean install with 10130 ISO kindly provided by a member on here. I know in earlier builds the gpedit policy to disable the lock screen worked but is hasn't with the last 2 or so builds. Screenshot from build 10130 gpedit.

Sadly no even though the policy is set to enabled I still get the lockscreen when the PC boots.

I'm sorry to hear that. Hopefully it will work for you in the next build.

Same here for me. I think I read three or four builds back that the Lock Screen is now an XAML implementation. This is when the group policy quit working for me. I am not sure what magic Shawn is using, but for me the group policy or the regedit no longer have any effect on the Lock Screen's appearance. As a side note when the group policy to disable the lock screen is enabled I do get the message "Some settings are managed by your organization" in the Lock Screen Settings and some options are grayed out. If I just Lock my computer I do not see the Lock Screen but on reboots or sign outs it always appears regardless of the settings I have made.
