Best Start Menus for Windows 10

After the anniversary update, the start menu became crap. What are some good alternative start menu programs for windows 10, preferably one that looks similar to windows 10's but allows pinning files to the start menu.

    See e.g.

Classic Shell (free) lets you do anything you want including launching universal apps, except it can't be used to show tiles. Highly reliable and flexible- allows adding file and folder shortcuts.

I really like the tiles feature of default Windows 10 start menu. I wish some third party program allowed me to pin files as tiles on the Windows 10 start menu.

They have "three" styles in Start10 (actually just two). The first two works but the third one just disables the program so that default Windows 10 start menu appears.

I found an easy way to pin files as tiles. You just have to use a registry file. Just use the downloadable registry file from the following site.

just to let you all know that classic Shell 4.3 causes Redstone 2 explorer to crash and go into a re-start loop. Had to un-install classic shell and look for alternative. Going to try Start10 v 1.50 and see how that goes.
@ediT ... Start10 causes a similar problem ... when i use the start menu search facility, then click on the find it causes a Explorer crash and re-start.

finally found one that works with Redstone 2 ... Iobit Start8 v4.021. This replacement so far works OK with Redstone 2.

Will it do that if I just have the Classic Start Menu installed and not the Classic Explorer? I opted out of that option when installing Classic Shell since I had no problem with the native Win 10 explorer
