Please help me change the font color of the desktop icons!? And also h

Dear compatriots,

I tried the trick of changing the desktop to black and then orange, but that didn't work. The font is still white. Now, you may be asking yourselves why should I spend so much time on an issue so trivial?

Well, the answer is, I get caught up in details. I have been searching all through the regedit, and can't find where the color for the font is edited. I found a color section, but it doesn't have icon font listed. Does anyone know where I could go to edit the code to change the font? I am a novice code person, and am relatively technologically inept, but I can change some code around if its fairly simple.

Please help me on my quest to change the font.

Unfortunately they can only either be white or black, and the black is a high contrast theme only on Win10.

As @SonicBlue said, white or black;
Ctrl+Shift+1,2,3 or 4 for white,
Ctrl+Shift+5,6,7 or 8 for black.

1-4 is small to extra large icon view,
5-8 is List, Content, Details and Tiles views.

Pick your view then Ctrl+Scroll to change size.
