The theme options in settings is for the normal mode, and only for the header and window controls.

Ya that is a drawback, thanks.

Hmmmm., after all the updates(yes it need quite a few, the first couple of days) and visiting all my favorite sites a few times to fill the caches, it runs solid as a rock, and faster than any other browser I have used in the last few years. Odd...
The only problem I have, is it doesn't recognized the scrollwheel button, page back click, on my browsing mouse(Logitech M325).
That is strange. My Logitech M705 scroll wheel works on it.

I loaded polarity and found some issues right away.

First off fonts were very small and broken, not smooth.
I had to set the view to 60% just to read anything.

I did not see any difference at all in night mode.

Setting the theme colors is confusing. Why are there 2 setting for instance
    on background colors?

The updater keeps prompting me to update, even though I have.

It crashed 2x going into its control center.

So, I'll mess with it some more but I may stay with Firefox.

EDIT: I removed it, crashing all over the place, not worth the trouble.
I apologize for any issues with Polarity. I am a learning developer myself.

Font rendering issues could be caused by changes in the size of Windows control. Also Polarity does not support DPI scaling as of now.

In the settings applet, there are 2 settings for background colors since it allows users to set a gradient instead of a flat color for parts of the browser.

The updater issues should be resolved. There were some server side issues that delayed the version file from being updated.

Could you please elaborate on the crashing issue with the Control Center? There were some bugs that are in 8.1.1 with the control center which are fixed in 8.1.2.

Version 8.1.2 is out now and the changes can be viewed in the changelog in the Polarity Website. Changelog - Polarity

Again, if there are any issues, do not hesitate to report them to me.
