    High Contrast Gold II

This theme works well in almost all areas, immersive and native, 'buttons', links, hyperlinks, etc, so I thought I would share it here as well.
I applied a few tweaks and supplied a few 'extras'.

High Contrast Themes in W8.1 and W10-000031.png

    The items included are:
    - The Themepack itself,

    - 'Avqest' Fonts (optional),

    - Gold animated cursor (optional),

    - Desktop Background,

    - 215 Icons ico and 215 Icons png, (optional), (courtesy of 'icebabee') http://icebabee.deviantart.com/art/B...Gold-259576159
    sample:

The files can be downloaded here:

The text is a little dim but you could brighten it a little within the Color Palette:

    Notes:
Between Firefox, Edge and IE, surprisingly Edge holds all the elements the best!
Getting custom icons to work in some areas is tricky, want some help, just ask. :)

    Enjoy! Doesn't cost a cent! :)

    Edit:
Seeing as how I'm adamant about keeping the text the same shade as the desktop background logo, I've boosted the text size and boldness here:

    It helps a bit.
Browsers you can change the zoom in themselves.
Changing the global dpi to something higher than 100%, however, renders the above function unusable.

    Hi Edwin and everyone!

Thanks very much for this, I've modified your theme to fit with the rest of my black and orange scheme so now it matches all my hardware too, pretty happy with it!

There's one thing that kinda annoys me though and I put an arrow on the screenshot - it's the colour of the title bar text, I'd love to make that a nice bright orange like the rest of the theme as I find it a bit hard to read, is that possible? I saw that Colour Palette tool in your post Edwin, was that removed or something?

    The wallpaper is 2560x1440, cheers!

Edit: removed theme attachment, updated version below.

Amazing, thanks very much! Will play around with these new settings for a while before posting an updated version of my theme.

Edit: OK, here it is! Also included in the screenshot the 'Metro' theme for Steam with Orange highlights.

Heh, I came across this thread because my eyes have been tired lately and I loved Edwin's customization I was like wow, that looks amazing how come I can't do that. And then I released that stupid Microsoft removed this feature in Windows 10061? Why?

I must be blind as a bat or not too much time on my hands these days but doesn't it bother anyone at all that we cannot change the color of the title bars anymore? Stuck at white & grey? I won't lie when my eyes get strained I have a hard time distinguishing from focused to unfocused windows these days .... Really irritating when I'm doing multiple things at once, like currently .... anyone?
Hi folks.. I am blind in my left eye and I find the other eye is very sensitive to bright light and gets very tires after a while.
Is this DARK THEME customization still possible with Windows Anniversary Version 1607?

The high-contrast themes works, but if you mean the official dark theme of Windows 10, works only with system settings and modern apps, while the desktop apps, such as file explorer, continue to use the light theme.
