    Windows 10 background slideshow

Anyone able to tell me why the Windows 10 picture album I set as my background slideshow disappears when I shut down my computer, and I have to reload it every time I turn the machine on and sign in??? Any way to fix this, or is this yet another glitch in the "wonderful" Windows 10??? Thanks for any help you may be able to give.

It is not a glitch in Windows 10, since mine works in a dual monitors setup with the pics on each monitor cycling every other minute. After Windows Updates when I have to restart, the same folder of pics is used. The only nit is that the module doesn't remember the last pics displayed and resumes from there. It always go back to the first pic after a reboot.

In the past (with Windows 10 and prior) when I lost its desired function, changed systems settings with User Interface were involved.

BTW, my pics folder is nested in a created folder on the C:\ drive.

Thanks for the information. I think that, since this computer is networked with another, I am getting a combination of pics from both background setups, similar to background themes for gmail and g-calendar which also are the same across the network. The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know about these things. Thanks again.
