    What about using the normal pointer for all states except 'busy' like in the "Extenza PRO" set?

    That one is the precision select cursor and has the crosshair under it.
    That's an interesting idea for a set to make. I'm no fan of all-same-roles but if works well and you like it, go for it.

    "Enhanced" Binary set now includes 17 variations, but it's still a long way from the legendary "Oxygen" set that has 37 unique colours The final additions were pink/black and a low contrast cyan. I don't think making those variations on grey and pink would be needed but something other than black with those grey outlines might look good. @Cesare you can make those variations if you need them.

    Great work, @i486
    I like the variations... the preview sells it very well!

    @Hopachi

    Please upload previews of the "Rainbow Deluxe" so that I can see how it looks like, so that I can decide if there are any changes or improvements to be made.

    Note: Please make sure that all the cursors are animated. I want the animations for all the cursors to have a slow animation and use as many rainbow colors as you can to get a super smooth transitional change in colors when the cursors animate. Also use as many frames as possible to get the smoothest and the most amount of colors as possible.

    Thank you so much Hopachi for willing on creating this rainbow cursor set which I requested earlier on. Good luck.

    Rainbow Deluxe Cursor Set

    I managed to assemble all pieces together.

    This is a design following the standard Windows cursor but with enhanced edges.
    Credits for the idea go to @Cesare, development by me...
    The animation has 18 frames, similar to the Aero cursors, I usually go with a number divisible by 3 or 6. There are 32x32, 48x48 and 64x64 layers.

    The GIF previews may have jagged edges.

    The release is as expected in full 32bit colour with transparency.

    Red is the first colour in the loop, therefore the previews in Explorer are like that.

    I was already in editing in post above.
    Go ahead and test it! Let me know if you have any suggestions for improvement.

    EDIT:
    - speed reduced of animation by half. From 8/60s to 16/60s per frame.
    - fixed hotspot of arrows -> moved to tip; note that offset may work nicely in tests depending on line thickness on higher dpi layers.
    - added neutral / universal arrow pointing straight up.

    Wow. That "Rainbow Deluxe" cursor set was released so quickly. However, great work Hopachi. Thank you so much. I will check to see how the animation goes. I will also give you feedback on suggestions and improvements if necessary.

    Many thanks Hopachi. You are the very best cursor designer I have ever known. Good luck.

    @Hopachi

    I have previewed the animation for the "Rainbow Deluxe" cursor set and its too fast. The colors are hard to see due to that fast shifting of colors. Please slow down the animation frame rate by double. The current speed of the Busy and Working In Background spinning cursors is fine but for all other cursors, the animation is way too fast. Please slow it down.

    Also, I have noticed that the hotspots for all the arrow mouse pointers are a little offset. Please fix those hotspots to that they are at the tip of the arrows.

    Other than that, this cursor set is perfect.

    Well done.

    Thanks Cesare!
    The fixes are in release zip in post above #594.

    I like the gradient you chose on this set, the transition of colours works very well.

    Thank you so much Hopachi for applying the fixes I suggested above. I am very happy that you like the color transitions that I suggested before. I knew they would work perfectly well for this Rainbow Deluxe cursor set. Many thanks.

    @Hopachi

    You forgot to add the Universal mouse pointer to the Rainbow Deluxe cursor set. That is the mouse pointer that points straight up. Please add it.

    Hmmm.. the original set in Windows doesn't have any. I'll see what I can do.
    You usually have a regular 'up' arrow.
