    Full Windows 10 theming. Possible?

    Full Windows 10 theming. Possible?-60265972-1-.png

I often see screenshots of Windows 10 like these. They say that it is possible to theme Windows even changing borders and buttons, not only colours.

How is it made? When I apply a theme, I usually get the colours cnaged and nothing more.

you need to patch system files to apply custom styles but you need to be careful as some visual styles aren't compatible with all windows 10 builds ...

here is an example of windows 10 ( 10586.29 last build ) themed as full glass I did

    Do you mean Uxtheme patching?

I installed UxStyle and UltraUXThemePatcher but still themes get only the colours.

Can you, please, give the name of the software or any other keyword to google?

    Go ahead @Edwin,
I cannot conscientiously recommend others to use 3rd party patching tools anymore, as they break somethings in Win10, or at the least worst case, prevent things from working.

I'm tired of then, having to try, to help them repair what they broke, even though I warned them ahead of time to IMAGE, IMAGE, IMAGE... because things like right click start menu breaks, or they won't have access to reliability history, or like when I warned you, do not uninstall the patcher....ooops black screen white cursor

    @zeleboba

you may consider Cliff and Edwin warnings though.. I played with cos I'm a very careful guy with some 7-8 backups .. so it was safe for me
I myself don't use theme patch anymore since windows 10 updates may screw up your system ....

@zeleboba & @mykou have you both considered trying to install VMWare Player and installing an OS that let's you without problems theme. I personally like Ubuntu, but could just as well use Windows 7. Then you have the looks(desktop) you want, with the pluses that Win10 has, such as the new start menu or the apps.

    Good answer!
I'm running a dark theme as we speak but, I won't run it on any Build later than 10240 and I'm still afraid of breaking stuff!
(Good thing I've got the hang of installing my OS once a day!)

All I can say is: do your homework, Back up-back up-back up, do so at your own risk!

yes :) but I'm fine with living without themes^^

I just wait for some tool to set a custom picture as explorer background , like windows 7 background changer before

Another, safe, alternative would be High Contrast Themes.
Not as cool as Custom Theming but tolerable without breaking stuff!
