    Boot to desktop?

Is there any way I can get Windows 10 to boot directly to the desktop, without presenting me with a coloured-arcs splash screen with time and date, which I have to click on, and then a logon screen, which I have to type my Microsoft password in, before I get to the desktop?

On start menu search bar, type "netplwiz" then press enter. Uncheck something that says users should enter password, etc. and click apply and just follow the rest of the steps.

That is for login from boot up, if you also want to get rid of password coming from sleep: PC Settings>>> Users (or Account? - sorry I am on windows phone now ) >>> Sign-in Options then click "change" under "Password Policy".

No worries. I wasn't sure about the sequence of my instructions because I was on my phone outside. But I'm glad you figured it out.
