    I'm running it (Glass8 v1.4.1) and I love it.

v 1.4.1 creates a 'dual layer' header on universal apps.

I used TileCreator and followed these directions here. Biggest thing to remember is to "RUN as ADMIN" or it won't work.

That's the one I used... They finally fixed the Tile App transparency which previously only worked for 64 bit systems.

There are tweaks on the net to remove that developer's nag screens and watermarks, I'll see if I can find one for the latest version of AeroGlass.

Looks like he updated it one more time since I installed it last, it works even better now.

Try out the tweak tool on his site too.. for example, white titles show up more clearly, and you can differentiate inactive from active windows with different colours. Note that wordpad and explorer seem to only show title text as black as exceptions.

Million thanks! Aero Glass worked in both Windows 8.1 Pro and Windows 10 Pro. I was about to start a new post when I read this thread! Now we can make Windows 10 exactly like Windows 7. We install the aerolite theme to make the menu bars colored, and we create a shortcut with the special command
    C:\Windows\System32\rundll32.exe shell32.dll,Control_RunDLL desk.cpl,Advanced,@Advanced
to enable the old Color and Appearance panel where we can set a custom color, rather than simply chose one of the presets. If we also want to tweak the size of the buttons, the font of menus, messages etc, as in Windows 7, we can use the winaero tweaker. The same guy has more tweaks such as restoring the classic calculator instead of the new app etc. I did almost all to make Windows 10 as close as possible to Windows 7. Thank him! The only missing feature was to make buttons 3D like in Windows 7 and you just solved that! Thank you all! I hope they don't become flat again after restart, otherwise I'll put it in the startup folder to enable automatically.

Having done the visual transformation, we can also bring back features missing in Windows 10. To get back the start button and start menu there are many utilities, but I think the best one is Classic Shell. You can even install a skin to make the start button the good old orb of Windows 7. Needless to say I've done that too. The next step is to install 8gadgetpack to enable the desktop gadgets. Latest version works in Windows 10, I've already tested it. To get the classic Microsoft games (Solitaire, Minesweeper etc) you can copy the Microsoft Games folder from a Windows 7 installation and then patch them to work in 8 and 10. Sorry, I don't currently have a link for that, just Google it.

That's for now, I don't remember anything else. If I do, I'll edit the post...

    Thanks again!

Please be aware that there is no guarantee any of this will keep working in future updates to Windows 10, and more importantly, these tweaks may actually cause future updates to fail and/or cause a future update to be unstable.

I'm not saying not to use them, but keep it in mind if your system suddenly starts acting strange.
