Anyway to get back that color chooser for like title bar text?

For some reason MS in their inane wisdom decided to remove the function of being able to set custom title bar text colors and such like windows 7 and below had, Is there someway to get this back? even if its a 3rd party app it is ok. I mean when I ugpraded from win 7 to win 10 it kept my old settings for those things, so the functionality should still be there, they just removed the control panel that let you edit it. This has the menu I am talking about scroll down a bit: Customize the Title Bar and Other System Fonts in Windows 7 Its the windows color and apperance panel I am talking about.

Anyway is there someway 3rd party or otherwise to get this menu back? or something that lets you edit the same things?

Only with a High Contrast Theme, I'm afraid.

Check in the tutorials index(forum header right hand side) for Aero lite to get color back in the title bars when you set a background and personalization settings, and then search for personalize classic right click menu. With those 2 tools, you should be on your way when using an Aero theme.

    @ Scyris:

The closest you'll get to this:

would be to install Brink's 'Personalization Classic' context menu extension, run a High Contrast theme then go to 'Color and Appearance':

Hi, you can do something like that (all colours completely variable).
Note the white caption text in the title bar, background colours (including explorer), glass effect, and the adjustments in the utility from the Aeroglass site.

That's native Win 10 + Aeroglass + AeroglassGUI tweaker, then Y'z shadow, a tiny reg hack for most backgrounds, and Quizo's Qttabbar for explorer, control panel.

What I've noted is it's really hard to pick a border colour for inactive windows that shows both the greyish text and the white text. Unfortunately Explorer and Wordpad title text remains obstinately black. (Whereas Notepad's -e.g. - doesn't).

I started using the Aerolite theme, until someone pointed out that borders had been reintroduced in a Windows update..

...and the AeroglassGUI tweaker lets you set the caption colour.
Brink's 'Personalization Classic' context menu extension works too to adjust the border colour.
