Same problem here. Can't read anything from the taskbar!

I didn't have time to try AeroGlass yet... it xcould solve this problem. But why isn't it possible on W10???

The whitetext in the title bar is achieved by using a tweak tool from AeroGlass's site, and I use Aeroglass (set a bit too opaque to be clear in that).

I had the same problem but only on a system that was upgraded from Windows 7. I did not have the problem with black font on taskbar on a fresh install of Windows 10. Tried exporting these keys from registry

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Colors
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop\Colors

from the fresh install Win10 and then importing to the one with black taskbar font... but it did not work or change anything.

Then i created a new user in the upgraded system... and guess what - the taskbar font became white! So this made me think... maybe it is just keeping som stupid setting from my account created in the Windows 7 system that was then upgraded?

Logged back on to that account, right-click desktop -> personalize -> themes -> theme settings -> and applied the theme "Windows" under the "Windows default themes" section. That did the trick without having to create a new user! Taskbar font is now white and clearly visible. :)

Thanks for that. I waste far too much time trying to do things on a trial and error basis, rather than looking up the solutions!

I have the best solution. Install the small Classic Shell program. This allows me not only to change text color but also the entire look of Windows - back to Windows 7 appearance! LOVE it!
