Wallpaper Changing and Learn About This Picture Icon?

Windows 11 Pro but this should apply to windows 10 as well I assume? Not long ago, I notice my wallpaper kept on changing every so often. I believe this was after a windows update. Then I recently did a dell firmware update. After the dell firmware update, I notice the wallpaper changing every so often. I then notice an icon called Learn about this picture showing. It might have been there before but I didn't notice it until recently.

Does anyone know why my wallpaper keeps on changing? Previously, my wallpaper never changed. It had to been a windows update that caused this? I did a few windows update whenever it tells me to do an update.

However, I never had my wallpaper changed. It seems to change a few times a day when I have my laptop open all day. I read online this has to do with the background setting? However, I didn't have this issue previously?

First, if you now use Win 11, please register on elevenforum.com to get the most relevant and appropriate help.

Second, if you take a look at the huge searchable Tutorials section there are different and various ways of setting the desktop background (wallpaper) and preventing it from changing if you wish.

Specify Default Desktop Background in Windows 10
Change Desktop Background in Windows 10
    - se as picture should let you choose your own - this is the most basic method.
Allow or Prevent Changing Desktop Background in Windows 10

Using one of those appropriately should solve your problem.

    For convenience:
Add or Remove Set as desktop background Context Menu in Windows 10

Without knowing your settings e.g. here...

    Hello Newmann,

It sounds like your desktop background got changed to Windows Spotlight. You can change it back to a Picture below instead to stop this.
