    How to "clean" contextual menus ?


    Hello
    I noticed that along the years, the contextual menus became longer and longer - Most of the command displayed are almost useless and I would like to edit and clean them
    Is that possible ? With a dedicated software or by Regedit ?
    It seems that different appications have different menus - Is there a way to access them all or should it be done through the applicatiion itself ?

    That and Autoruns (free from MS) allow you to disable extensions - Autoruns may well list more than Shellexview.

    Autoruns also offers a rt click, delete option.
    I've not tried that myself, preferring to remove any via the relevant program on the rare occasion I do.

    There is another option too... it is possible to hide context menu entries and only show them if you

    SHIFT + rt click

    I only know a way to do that via the registry.
    Add menu items to SHIFT + right click menu on Windows - Super User

    Good for rarely used ones.
