    Simple win 10 questions


    Win 10 task bar icons for browsers etc are too small. Much smaller than Win 7. I cannot find how to enlarge everything. I can unlock taskbar & fiddle but that doesn't enlarge browser & app icons.

    I've had that problem and it can be hard to fix. It might be related to Windows Metrics.

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop\WindowMetrics

    I'm not sure about that.

    You could try temporarily changing your theme to another one and see if it looks different in terms of taskbar icons.

    Change your current theme via Control Panel.

    Change Theme in Windows 10

    Then reboot and change the theme back to your original theme.

    It could help if you would care to provide an illustrative screenshot showing why they seem too small.
    E,g, on showing a familiar window as well for comparison.

    Are you using a very hi-res screen?
