    XP theme for Win10

What is the best XP theme for Windows 10? I tried two from Deviantart so far and been having trouble getting either of them to work properly but so far the minimize/maximize/close buttons aren't accurate, other than their color. Anyone have better suggestions?

I still have my modified .msstyles from the Luna port to Windows 7 where I modified all the background/text colors to be a darker theme and I'm hoping I won't have to redo them but in the likely case that I will, what's the app everyone uses to customize Windows now? I used VistaStyleBuilder for my .msstyles back in 2014, is that still all the rage? Their forum seemed dead.

There is something called OpenShell it is literally the best option for somebody who wants a specific theme with as little ease
without installing ( or purchasing ) software. That is all I know about XP theme in Windows 10. As most people are using openshell for the XP theme. Openshell is also free did I mentioned?

UltraUXThemePatcher - is usually used first in order to install unofficial themes. Afterwards you should be able to download and install user made themes.

Startisback - is used stand alone for the Windows styled start menu ( but you can also do this in Open Shell ).
winaero tweaker - allows dark mode changes and built in Aero glass ( but usually startisback first ).

WIndowsBlinds ( now depreciated ) - is able to give you that Windows 7 Glass look but it uses resources a lot. If you do use then
use it via clear to cut down on resources. There are now a wide variety of options from the same company.

Stardock Curtains - have many edits and altercations in which users makes. It is kinda overdose. You could get a Windows Vista like theme going on.
Stardock Fences - More or less the same thing.

There is a Run command to access the legacy theme changer. If you install a theme or want access to default theme if it is problematic ( like I do not want my W10 activated ) you would use that run command ( which I forget ). However I mention
this if you are able to download a user-created theme, you might be able to access it here.

Open-Shell only gives you a few (albeit crucial) XP bits like the start button, classic address bar, classic toolbar etc. It's not for customizing all the fonts, colors, backgrounds etc.

I don't wanna bring back everything from XP, as not everything about it was great. Likewise, not everything about modern windows sucks. What I want is the customization freedom I had with XP, changing colors and fonts as I saw fit, a freedom we lost in Windows 7.

It seems msstyleseditor is the only alternative to the outdated Windows Style Builder right now. Here's what I was able to do with it so far: Help customizing this theme (text and colors) | WinClassic

I can't figure out how to change the text color in the dialog boxes, it should be white instead of black. Does anyone know how? Let me know if the screenshots in that thread are visible. If not, I will repost them here.

I don't want any of those. I'm not asking for a theme, I'm asking for help in customizing my current theme to my liking.

Okay ...... have at it then , yes VistaStyleBuilder also known as Windows Style Builder is still the app used to edit or create msstyle files, however depending on the age of your ported XP theme you may need to import some style hacks into WSB to get it to work correctly on Windows 10 22H2
