Right Click Context Menu, Delete & Rename

Hello:) From window version 22H2, build 19045.3930... I am uncertain, where to post... I have searched online and Ten Forum... Your site has helped me in the past... I have two concerns... First, I am a intermediate PC user... I am interested in removing the 'Delete' that is listed in the context menu... I stopped using that decades ago... I move unwanted files & folders to a file that I have named, Wipe Out'... then eventually use Privazer or Glary`s Utility's for deletion... Then, I would like to rearrange the listings within the context menu... specifically, move the 'rename' higher up the list... I have looked through my registry... I do use 'Easy Context Menu' and similar programs...I try to avoid the Microsoft start menu. Only certain versions of Filemenu have worked for me.

In File Explorer and the Details view one can rearrange the file listing in a Folder by clicking the column headings, just like in a spreadsheet. One can right-click a heading and either remove a column not needed or add more as desired. The arrangement in the columns are either Ascending or Descending, click to list one way, click again to list the other way.

For file arrangement there can be no 2 or more files of the same name in a Folder, each has to at least one character different from another. For duplicate files I put a Tilde or two [~or ~~] at the beginning of the name, brings the files to the top of the list, there are other ways to organize as one desires. Special characters are listed first followed by numbers followed by alpha or alphanumeric names.

Nice thing about the included Recycle Bin is that gives the chance to restored deleted items until it is emptied. When files are deleted they are not gone, only the first character is replaced and the space the file occupied is marked as available. The automatic deletion isn't done until the available space is required for saving other data.

    Thanks, but(:

Thank You for your reply... but my concern or question involves the right context menu... I avoid windows explorer as much as possible... I am heavy into freeware or shareware... I use Q Dir, Ex++ Just Manager, Nexus File... I want to remove the delete function from context menu and move the rename function higher in the list... I see no reference in registry regarding these functions and how they are presented in the context menu. I don`t use the recycle bin at all.

I guess the only thing I can offer with the mentioned third-party installs. and have seen only a few times of it, is that the possibility exists that updates to Windows can/may set things back to its defaults.

    Again, sorry, but...

Hello...thanks for trying to help, but my concern has nothing to do with third party programs... it has to do with Microsoft`s Context Menu Defaults... removing the 'delete' function and moving the 'rename' function. When a user of Easy Context Menu creates a new context menu, they can move it up or down... plus in Just Manager, a user can do the same for favorite bookmarked folders. I have only seen one thread on line regarding the rearrangement of the Microsoft Default Context Menu, but that was dated back to 2015 or so... May be in a week or so, I should, if, allowed, I should delete this post... I just want to continue making the PC more user friendly for me. I was introduced to alternative software or solutions or personalizing PC`s, ever since Win 95 via a out of state pen pal.

A Search for the programs Easy Context Menu and Just Manager shows they are not published by Microsoft so they are third-party programs.
