Make win + printscreen save as jpg

As the title suggests I want windows to start saving captures when I use win + print keys. Currently it saves them as png files. Since I bought jpegmini pro, I wish for it to start saving as jpeg when possible. Advise about how to make this happen?

Have you tried creating a shortcut using the hotkey combo you want?

I know nothing about the program you mention.

Your enquiry seems program specific- have you asked the vendor? Checked the Help file?
Perhaps it has command line options you could use in a shortcut (with a hot key).

One I use (Duckcapture, free) allows hotkeys to be specified:
Make win + print save as jpg-untitled.png

Does your paid program not offer that?

I don't use any program as this is the built in printscreen feature in windows 10 which you can do yourself with the above hotkeys. Doing so will automatically save a screenshot of your current window view to the Screenshots folder.

Also as a side note, I'm not using any paid software or plan to use any kindof software free or not as I'm using built in windows features to capture the screenshots.

Follow step 1 here if you're not familiar as you say with how I am doing this.

I will try to make my post clearer for you.

    You said:

In your sentence, 'it' refers to jpegmin pro.

    I said
I know nothing about the program you mention.
That = I know nothing about jpegmini pro

Your post reads as if this is some screen capturing program which you want to trigger with a specific hot key and then have it save as jpeg.

As I clearly don't understand your post, I'll leave it to someone else.

(Please do not use the limited PM space to alert people to your response- that happens automatically. Thanks).

What jpegmini does is it compresses the file size of jpegs and videos only. It does not compress other image file types. Hence why I do not want the screenshots to be saved as png, does that help you to understand better the limitations of jpegmini and why I am wanting this particular outcome?
