Trying to make two changes to the taskbar (clock & previews)

I'm running Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 21H2 and wanted to change the clock popup back to the Windows 7 style, and I wanted to disable those preview popups when you hover over an item on the taskbar. I folowed the instructions given at the Windows Club website, but in both cases they did not work. Has anyone else tried to do this or have a suggestion about it?

Enable old Windows 7 Clock, Calendar in Windows 10 Taskbar

Enable or disable Taskbar Thumbnail Preview in Windows 11/10

The Registry tweak to enable the old classic Windows 7 clock does not work on Windows 10 Anniversary Edition version 1607 and later.

Taskbar thumbnails: try this excellent searchable free tweaker with full explanation- note the checkbox to disable them.

Or from the huge searchable Tutorials section- do feel free to have a look- I found this for you:
Enable or Disable Taskbar Thumbnail Live Previews in Windows 10

As for the clock- you can search for replacements... see if you can find one that suits you.

But note that left click on it triggers a popup that is integrated with the Calendar app, if you use that for reminders.

Had you consulted the tutorials here you would have found the tweak you mention no longer works:
Enable or Disable New Clock and Calendar in Windows 10

    - and saved time trying something found elsewhere.
