    Win10 Login Screen - Can't Personalize

I am running Win10 22H2 x64 on a desktop computer. I have a picture I would like to use in all background, login, and lock screen settings. I have been partly successful. That picture does now appear on the desktop; also on the lock screen after I hit Win-L.

Unfortunately, I have not been able to make that picture appear on the login screen. In other words, I still have the default Windows picture when I first boot up the system. How can I make my preferred picture appear there?

To repeat, my picture does appear when I go into Settings > Personalization > Lock Screen. At that location, I have turned on the option to "Show lock screen background picture on the sign-in screen." But my picture still does not replace the default Windows picture when I first start the computer.

Scroll down in the Lock Screen window, and switch that to On if it's at Off:

IF it's already set to On, switch it Off, then switch it On again.

It was on, as already indicated. I turned it off, turned it back on, and rebooted. No effect. But thanks for trying.

    See:

Initial responses are not relevant.. but reading thru you can see it's the same scenario as yours- your own picture- and at the bottom:

However, the solution of swapping between Spotlight and Picture modes seems to be working. The stock image I wanted to get rid of is finally gone and hasn't reappeared after six combined restarts, shutdowns and log offs.
The problem of the stock MS picture appearing on cold boot is a well-known one and used to be common.
