Remove Gray Pin icon from Quick access Navigation Pane

Anyone. I guess it cant be done

Its more than a year later and I've been looking for this for hours all over the web but didn't find anything about it, just others with the same question

there must a simple registry that can change it.... lets hope someone find it.... someday

Thanks for this hack. I have always hated that icon. It must be my OCD.

Thanks to everyone that contributed to this thread over the years, especially @mykou

I have been using another workaround.
I just hide Quick Access and added my favorite folders to This PC using WinAero Tweaker.
I feel this way explorer is much cleaner.
