How do I change the system tray icons?

Very nervous to ask because I don't want to be belittled for my lack of knowledge, but I'm almost done customizing my Windows 10 desktop to look more akin to Windows Vista! There's one problem though, I have no idea how to change the icons. I have "tried" downloading Customizergod, to no avail.. and I believe I've started to just lose hope in general that they could be changed to the ones I prefer. Is there any way to do it without messing my entire pc up just to have a loophole to work Customizergod?

    Thank you.

Just a comment in passing.. I use Vista icons, though the package didn't make changes to tray icons..
Stardock IconPackager + an appropriate icon package.

How do I change the system tray icons?-1.jpg

    Note too...
    - Open Shell with Windows Orb
    - partially transparent titlebar (Stardock Curtains)

A key aim when I started with this from Win 8 was to ensure changes were not impacted by upgrades or running repairs such as SFC /SCANNOW. I.e. no patches to system files.

    System Tray icons:
    - the topic has been discussed. If you had searched tenforums, you might have saved yourself time e.g. CustomierGod:

    That doesn't happen here.

    Welcome to TenForums.

It's really worth making time to browse through the Tutorial index - there's a shortcut to it at the top of every page.
    - At the foot of the Tutorial index is a shortcut to download it as a spreadsheet.
    - I download a new copy each month.
    - By downloading it as a spreadsheet I can benefit from Excel's excellent filtering capabilities when I search for topics of interest.
    - Tutorials are also listed by category at Tutorials - there's also a shortcut to that at the top of every page.
    - Both tutorial lists are searchable.
    - You can also search for TenForumsTutorials in many general search engines, such as Google, by adding site:tenforums.com/tutorials after your search term. For example,
    taskbar toolbars site:tenforums.com/tutorials

You can search TenForums using the search box in the top-right corner of all TenForums webpages or using Advanced Search - TenForums
    - You can also search TenForums threads in many general search engines, such as Google, by adding site:tenforums.com after your search term. For example,
Search for drivers by HardwareID site:tenforums.com
    - [This is what the search box in the top-right corner of TenForums webpages does automatically]

    All the best,
    Denis
