background image turns black after a while

    background image turns black after a while

    this has been happening for some time. I set up a desktop background, but after some time it turns black. The computer runs just fine, but the desktop image is just black for no reason. I don;t know how to solve this (pc i dont know much about pcs)

    Hi, so much depends on how you have configured the wallpaper source. The basic settings are here:

    Without knowing how you've set this up, it's impossible to give a single answer. There are many ways to specify its source.

    Your desktop background (also called wallpaper) can be a picture from your personal collection or included with Windows, a solid color, or a slideshow playing selected pictures randomly on all displays.

    It might be synched with another PC...

    You can also have 3rd party programs which apply wallpaper from a variety of sources.

    Press Win + I
    In the Background you look in the curtain under "Background" and choose Picture, Solid Color or Slideshow.
