    Remove Exmplorer Button Pinned to task bar


    On my new work computer M$ decided it really wants me to have Windows explorer pinned on my task bar. However I don't want it there and I've tried unpinning it but when I log off or reboot it's there again. How do I remove it permanently?

    Hello @townsbg,

    As this is your work computer, and if it is Networked, you will need the IT Department to make that change for you. They may NOT do this as most companies have a structured network setup that gets rolled out for ALL computers.

    @Paul Black I don't think that this issue is caused by group policy because my last one didn't have that.
