"Save As" Download screen not in alphabeticle order

When downloading a file, the "Save As" screen is not is alphabetical order, making the target folder difficult to find.

Two screenshots; one is the "Downloads" folder, the other "Save As" screen to the same "Downloads" folder, showing one in alphabetical order, as it should be, and the other sorted be time.

I have found no provision to change the view when downloading a file.

Hi, using Firefox I would simply click the Name header -

    - and I see the same if I use Chrome.

It looks as if you may be using the Chrome browser, given the icon top left in your 2nd screenshot.
You haven't stated if this is so, or where that save as window comes from.

Have you noticed the titlebar is different? That's not a file explorer window exactly although it looks like one.
And it's not the same as what I see if I 'show in folder' after downloading a file using Chrome.

Are you using a Chrome add-on for downloads, perhaps? Some download manager?

For many SaveAs & Open dialogs such as yours, you can right-click in a blank area and select Group by, None.
It will revert to a simple list and it should retain that new setting.

Yes, this particular time it was Chrome, but Firefox is my default browser... No download manager add-on for either browser.
The same happens in both browsers.

Next download, I'll give that a try.
