    Help changing icon font color in Win 10


    When I had Windows 7 I had a background photo that was predominately dark so I changed the shortcut icon font to white. After upgrading to Windows 10 and changing my background I want to change the font back to black but can't find a way to do that.

    All 3 are FREE programs.

    You can use Iconoid Iconoid - Hide and show desktop icons, maketransparent backgrounds
    Left click on icon then change the text color

    Desktop Icon Toy v5.0 Desktop Icon Toy 5.0 Download (Free trial) - DesktopIconToy.exe
    Left click on the icon then go to Color

    Desktop OK - to lock icons in position
    DesktopOK 10.55 Save and restore the desktop icon positions.

I've tried the changing background to Orange, etc and it doesn't work for me. Somewhere, it was mentioned about changing to orange then changing back. Followed the procedure and it didn't work.Would like to change to black. Pete
