Where does windows store the "make image your wallpaper" image
When you: context menu -> make background, on an image, that image is stored somewhere, where is it? Too often clicked by accident.

Ofc, Microsoft couldn't make things easy or intuitive.
The current wallpaper that you "set as wallpaper" is stored:
C:\Users\[your user name]\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Themes\CachedFiles
It is renamed and has a .jpg extension. So anytime you find an image and "set as wallpaper", you can go to that folder... copy the image and store it somewhere sensible, like a folder you create called "My Wallpapers".
Then, in the future you can just BROWSE to that folder to find your wallpapers.
Default Microsoft wallpapers are stored in:C:\Windows\Web
When you stand back, think about things a decide to take control of your wallpapers, you will find that the...
Right click desktop > Personalize > Background > Picture... BROWSE is your best friend.
You can use ANY picture for your wallpaper. Just create a folder anywhere and put the pictures you want to use for wallpapers... in there. The you can access them with the BROWSE button.
Or... you can just use the BROWSE button to browse to ant folder you have that contains pictures.
