Here the reg file to create the PaintDesktopVersion value if you want to use it

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop]
"PaintDesktopVersion"=dword:00000001


I just right click on windows button and open a command prompt.

First line tells you version. Oddly enough powershell does not.

Mine does the same but doesn't give the Version number such as 1904 or 21H2.

For quick information, I usually use this in a CMD Prompt . . .
