    I use this.
    Code:
rem 0 - No screen saver is selected / 1 - A screen saver is selected
    reg add "HKCU\Control Panel\Desktop" /v "ScreenSaveActive" /t REG_SZ /d "1" /f

    rem Specifies whether the screen saver is password-protected / 0 - No / 1 - Yes
    reg add "HKCU\Control Panel\Desktop" /v "ScreenSaverIsSecure" /t REG_SZ /d "1" /f

rem Specifies in seconds how long the System remains idle before the screen saver starts
    reg add "HKCU\Control Panel\Desktop" /v "ScreenSaveTimeOut" /t REG_SZ /d "250" /f

    rem Screensaver - Mystify.scr
    reg add "HKCU\Control Panel\Desktop" /v "SCRNSAVE.EXE" /t REG_SZ /d "Mystify.scr" /f

Right click a blank spot on the desktop and choose Personalization/Lockscreen/screensaver. Choose your screensaver, and click Preview,

I would just UNDO, whatever you did in Group Policy, then just use the...
Right click the Desktop > Personalize > Lock Screen > Screen saver settings...

5 minutes, 6 minutes, whatever you want.

I use the Aurora from Vista on all my PC`s and set it for 6 minutes.

My monitor goes off in 15 minutes and my PC goes to sleep in 30 minutes

When I set mine at 1 minute, the screen saver comes on in 1 minute.
If yours doesn't... then something is over-riding it. Maybe something in Group Policy?

In my Power Plan I have my screen set to turn OFF in 5 minutes.

    I don't know.
You will probably just have to play around with it, until you spot whatever you are missing. ^^

Sometimes... I just ignore a problem for a day or two...
and then i think: "wait a second, I know what's causing it".

When I was younger... I only had to wait an hour or two.
