It doesn't affect Chrome, Edge and other programs using non-standard proprietary windows as I commented above.

You might have better success with those with Stardock's WindowBlinds.

As for the settings you show- they look appropriate. I've not used them myself so can't comment further. Sometimes with some programs you have to be careful to apply changes in the appropriate manner.

As your issue is with usage of the program, you may wish to ask that on Stardock's forum.

Meanwhile this may also be of interest:

    Thank you for your reply.

Considering WindowBlinds: this confirms it can skin Chrome/Edge:
WinCustomize: Articles : Skinning Google Chrome

That these are different- and a good number of other programs e.g a number of video converters and more- is a matter of the designer's choice.

As for Win 11: Stardock does not provide a version of Curtains for that, alas.

I've tried WindowBlinds with Win 11, but it's noticeably worse with Store apps than Curtains in Win 10, which is good. There is a program I use that adds buttons in the title bar. Whilst that works well with Curtains, the buttons are misplaced with WindowBlinds.

Windowblinds whichever version is applicable to your installed Windows.
The later build for Win 11.
