How to change jump list line spacing

    Hi,

At some stage the line spacing in my task bar jump lists changed to much wider.

I have no idea what caused it: windows, classic shell, advanced system font changer, or some other app?.

How can I manually set the spacing? I would like it narrower than it originally was, so I can see more items!

    Windows 10 pro build 19041.vb_release.191206-1406
    HP zbook

    Thank you :)

    Hello @Piecevcake,

I have noticed that you have NOT had ANY replies, so I thought that I would try and help.

I did some investigating for you and found this which might be of use . . .

    > Jump List Vertical Spacing

    I hope this helps.

@Paul Black - Hi, oddly the link you posted seems not to be a link...

    mmm, very strange.

There wasn't very many hits when I searched and I obviously posted the wrong link. I will try and have another look later for the OP.

A year and half later, must not have. I don't see it as a clickable link either.

I think that if you replace the asterisks (*) in the link with the letters "w i n d o w s p h o n e i n f o" [without the spaces between each letter] you will have the link to the post OP intended. I'm not sure if that thread will be helpful at all though. I've been digging into what I consider to be a very closely related issue today using Windows 11.

My guess is that this issue is a context menu spacing issue, but finding that specific setting in the registry is proving to be difficult.
