Have to use something like the MS paint app for touch up jobs on the insert first before trying it once on the background so the touchups will be made more transparent. I could fade it a bit more but end up losing the right side of the "0" getting meshed into the small glowing portions on the original capture. A "10" transparency is always the preferred option or at least another 10 being used I can recolor to match closely.
Or just fade the edges of the layer with the eraser (hardness 0) in PDN

What I did first was intrude with Paint into the rectangle to cut away some of the bordering entirely. I then used the Glow not Screen option to see an improved mesh.

Rather then lightening the border to fade I blended the ends into darker spots on the original capture as much as possible to retain most of the original transparency. What would be much better of course would be what is used on a teleprompter's text generator for inserting text into video but into wallpapers instead. But what other options are there?

Meet "Red Eye of 10"! Courtesy of MS Paint and it's own text edit feature!

The first one is best. I'm sure that PDN would have better text features than MS Paint.

All depends on how it turns out! 3D lettering is top shelf regardless. That along with individual letters you are able to insert are things to make life a bit easier.

To see how any paper works along side another I first run a comparison to one already applied as well as reverse positions.

    Looks nice.

With PDN if you create the text on a separate layer you can apply effects to it. Look under the Effects->Objects menu item. Or you can make a selection of the text and apply effects under the Effects->Selection menu. This will allow you to create bevels, outlines and shadows. Have a play with it you can create some really nice effects.

Looks good Steph. I've never got on with Chasys Draw. Of the free ones I've always preferred GIMP.
