Change Taskbar Icons for Windows Core Apps

I tried everything to change the taskbar icons for windows apps like the calculator or the Microsoft Store app. I mean apps that are installed here: C:\Program Files\WindowsApps
It actually seems impossible to change those as they are protected deep in the core of the OS.

    Is there a way?

They do change on desktop but not on the taskbar

This is what shows up when pinned on the taskbar

    Hi @waleedov

You have changed the icon for the shortcut, not the program.
So drag the shortcut to the taskbar and remove the originals hopefully that'll work.

I am sorry I didn't understand what you meant. As far as I know, you can only change the icon of the shortcut, not the app.

    Hello again @waleedov

That could be the case. Sorry.

Otherwise, you could try right clicking the taskbar icon then right clicking the icon + text, then clicking Properties. Then click change icon there.

    Thanks

That works for normal apps yes, but not for UWP apps.
