Screen Saver keeps failing

My screen saver keeps failing to start. I don't get any error messages, if just never starts.
I can go into the settings, change the screen saver, and then it will work for like a day or so, but then it just never activates.
Worse yet, I have found on multiple occasions (usually after I reset or shut down my computer so I can load another OS) that the screensaver I was using has been outright removed.

I use the pictures slideshow from Windows XP because it actually works on all my monitors and lets me navigate with the arrow keys. But I have to keep reinstalling it because it will spontaneously disappear from my list of screen savers. But even when I switch to one of the default screen savers I still find that my settings will just randomly turn off the screen saver.

What is causing this? Has anyone else here seen this problem? Is Windows reverting my settings without being prompted to?

Do a Repair install, see if that fixes it.

Of... the OS? Or am I able to do that of specific components?

I have not seen it work reliable ever since I installed Windows 10 pro earlier this year.
Running a dual boot system. I had almost never had this problem with WIndows 7 on the same machine; at best maybe five times ever had I seen the screensaver no longer kick in, but just changing the timer fixed it. I've never seen a screensaver uninstall itself, and never had this much of a problem with a screen saver not kicking on.

As I said earlier, it only shows up on one screen. I've got three other monitors twiddling their thumbs. Plus I like being able to skip back or hold an image with the arrow keys.

And now the screen saver won't work at all.I can set it to turn on in one minute with any screen saver, but it never turns on at all.
