Can I make Windows 10 look like XP?

    Currently I'm using Win 8.1.
I went to 8forums and solicited the same question years ago and got a great response and link to make 8.1 look like XP.
Now, I'm asking this 10 Forum if there is a link/file that I can download and make Win 10 look like XP?
I will probably upgrade to 10 but am seeking assistance with this question.
    Thanks

Hi, suggest you start with a simple search: (ignore the strange name)

Discussed here e.g. - have you tried searching tenforums?

    Of course there's Stardock's Windowblinds...

I prefer non-intrusive adaptations that usually survive feature updates- and certainly run no risk of causing it to fail:

Stardock's Iconchanger, Curtains (frame), Openshell start menu (XP/Win 7 style and more) - free, Qttabbar (explorer backgrounds) and a registry mod for other backgrounds.

I agree with my colleague Dalchina

IMHO non of these so called make it look like XP - work completely satisfactorily on 10
Part of the reason is, I believe, that many aspects of 10 rely on the system finding various entries and files, where it expects to find them and many of these so called - make it look like fixes - interfere with this process - sooner or later.

I have always run a completely unmodified 10 and have never had ONE single problem of any note.

As to you running 8.1 you should not be doing so - it is unsupported on mianstream and has been since 2018 and although on extended support you still receive security updates, it lacks many of the security features of 10.

Not only in the system itself, but in the total nature of the security centre available settings
